Dinner with Your Dog Supports Shakespeare Animal Fund! Wild River Grille’s Dinner with Your Dog event the entire month of July!
Bring your best friend for Dinner on our outdoor patio every Monday during the month through the summer and we will donate 10% from every entree purchased to the Shakespeare Animal Fund. Located at the Wild River Grille along the Riverwalk District in Downtown Reno.
Think how often our dogs are our very best dinner partners… they don’t need small talk, don’t try to split the bill and hang on our every word or bite (often hoping we’ll spill a few in their direction). So what better way to reward their good behavior than taking them out to eat? Wild River Grille, located along the scenic Truckee River at 17 S. Virginia, is offering its annual Dinner with Your Dog event. Bring your favorite dogs to dine during the month of July, and a percentage of the proceeds go to Shakespeare Animal Fund, a local 501© (3) charity, and local no-kill animal shelter.
Offering a wide variety of gourmet entrees as well as quality wines and top-of-the-line brews, Wild River is the perfect place to enjoy Reno’s natural beauty while helping the community.
The Shakespeare Animal Fund is a non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to save the lives of as many pets as possible. They do this by paying emergency veterinary bills for the elderly, the disabled, and any other that is less fortunate and whose dogs or cats are suffering. There are thousands of local people who live alone, below the poverty line, and whose main "family" is their pet. That's where the Shakespeare Animal Fund steps in.
Founded in January 2004 under the direction of the Community Foundation, this organization has raised more than $500,000 to help local animals. However, the need to help our furry companions continuously grows, as do the rise in calls and emails each month begging for help.
Help the community and enjoy a great meal by participating in the Dinner with Your Dog event. For more information contact Wild River Grille, (775) 284-7455. To learn more about the Shakespeare Animal Fund go to shakespeareanimalfund.org.
